Jerusalem is a city, not a land, there is a difference! One could almost give them a pass if they talked about Judah being the land.

I don't know if you've considered the irony of this, having to describe Jeruslame as a city to LDS. Of course, they would indicate that it's a metaphor for Judea, Israel, Zion, etc. and that you're just picking nits.
However, what I find amusing (re: LDS) is how scripture uses "Jerusalem" as or in a metaphor. LDS are VERY big on the dogma that they not onoly have a heavenly father (Elohim) bot that they have a heavenly mother, one of his multiple wives. Of course the Bible says nothing about us having a heavenly mother, except one verse that I'm aware of: "But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all." Galatians 4:26.
So to comment on your post, I'd just add that Jerusalem is a city (or a mother), not a land. [:-)]
