Hidden from the Wise

Luke 10:21-22 (ESV)
In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, "I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will. [22] All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him."

I have known a lot of very wise men who have understood these things hidden from the wise. However, the wisdom of Christianity is not wise to the wise of this world. It is a foolishness that in the end shames the wise. It is revealed to little children.
Too many think they are wise in the ways of God and miss this. It has been revealed to little children. It should not then be denied to them. People who think Children are incapable of belief, they know not what faith and belief is. They are confused. One can hope they have faith despite their lack of understanding, but it is a vile thing they do when they do not baptize little children. In essence it is a denial of their own baptism.
Jesus chooses who he will reveal the Father to. Not us. And he made the choice when he said “Go therefore making disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” And when through Peter he told the crowds that baptism was for their children.
