Col. 4:2-6 (ESV)
Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. [3] At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison— [4] that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak.
[5] Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. [6] Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.
Pray that a door may be opened for the word. Sometimes the doors seem to be shut. It is frustrating at times. You wonder, how can I get the message out? Where is Mars hill, where can I go to declare the mystery of Christ? We underestimate prayer. It can open doors we never knew were there. It can also help in the delivery of the word when the door is open. We aren’t always clear when we are proclaiming the gospel. Paul claims that he wasn’t always clear. Yet he wanted to be. We should strive for clarity. Prayer and study serve clarity and boldness. We might not always be the best evangelists. I know people who seem like they can convince anyone of the truth of the gospel. I don’t know how they do it. They have a gift. But we have a gift also, we all have the gift of prayer. If we are shy, or bumblers we can at least pray.

Posting it on the internet is a good place. But you can't tell who's hearing it and how.
I suppose you are right. Part of the thing though is you would really like to target the community you are in somehow. The internet isn't the greatest for that. A coffee house is, a pub is. But they took care of that here in Utah. Isolation is key to control, and the Mormons are good at isolating even in the midst of a crowd.
