This video is in jest. Unfortunately in many churches this is the sort of thing that is believed and passed off as Christianity. When a man like John Shelby Spong (whose position is the object of the videos derision) is promoted to bishop of a church, it is no wonder that people raised in historically Christian Churches can be duped by a couple of 18 year olds wearing name tags and a black tie into believing Joseph Smith was a prophet. If we don’t take our theology serious, no one else will either.
