Pride in Humility

Alma 5:27 [Book of Mormon]
“Have ye walked, keeping yourselves blameless before God? Could ye say, if ye were called to die at this time, with yourselves, that ye have been sufficiently humble? That your garments have been cleansed and made white through the blood of Christ, who will come to redeem his people from their sins?“
So there is a catch 22 for you isn’t there? How could one say that they have been sufficiently humble? The truly humble person would admit that they have not been sufficiently humble, to say you have would be a proud display of humility. And if Christ is coming to redeem his people of their sins, why do they have to be sufficiently humble? Isn’t that the point of redeeming someone from their sin, wouldn’t pride be one of those sins that he redeems us from? Or is that one unforgivable.

Thanks for shedding light on all the nonsense in the b.o.m..

Those poor people are reading a book of fiction and foolishness...and they are suckers for it.

What a shame.
