More Racism in the Book of Mormon

Alma 3:6,9 [Book of Mormon]
“And the skins of the Lamanites were dark, according to the mark which was set upon their fathers, which was a curse upon them because of their transgression and their rebellion against their brethren who consisted of Nephi, Jacob, and Joseph and Sam, who –were just and holy men… And it came to pass that whosoever did mingle his seed with that of the Lamanites did bring the same curse upon his seed.”
Aside from the blatant racism this verse supports, a racism at odds with a God “who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. “ (1 Tim. 2:4 (ESV) Furthermore, it is a racism that is not found in the Bible and is at odds with Christianity. Aside from that is the problem this presents for MORMON theology, and that is what about free agency? If these children are cursed from the beginning because of who their parents are, are they then not deprived of this supposed Free agency” if they are deprived of it, does that not indicate that in fact there is no Free Agency for anyone? And yes I’m arguing for the Bondage of the will.
