Patripassionism in the Book of Mormon

Book of Mormon,
Mosiah16: 14-15
“ Therefore, if ye teach the law of Moses, also teach that it is a shadow of those things which are to come– Teach the that redemption cometh through Christ the Lord who is the very Eternal Father.”
See Jesus has come. Jesus never claimed to be the Father, but God. He maintains a different personhood while being God with the Father who is a different person. Mormons. But if the law of moses was just a shadow of things to come, then why do Mormon’s still have temples, which Jesus rejected in John Chapter 4?
Every Mormon I have run across is dumbfounded by the doctrine of the trinity, and tell me that the Godhead is 3 God’s unified in purpose, but separate in being. This is the exact opposite of the heresy espoused above which is otherwise known as Patripassionism, the doctrine that the Father suffered on the Cross.
