To Him be Glory

Jude 1:24-25 (ESV)
Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, [25] to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.

What praise. The letter for all its law, ends on a note of gospel that drives everything home. Jesus deserves our honor and praise, not because of his glory and majesty being God and creator of the word, but moreso because he is the one who is not only able, but does keep us from stumbling, who will present us blameless before his glory, because he has died for our sins. He has paid the price for our forgiveness. He rose from the dead that we might live with him, and serve him in everlasting righteousness, which we do every day of our blessed lives here on earth. He is our God, He is our savior. We are his, sanctified in the water with the word, and made spotless and blameless. So he has glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time, and now, and forever Amen.
