1 John 2:26-27 (ESV)
I write these things to you about those who are trying to deceive you. [27] But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything—and is true and is no lie, just as it has taught you—abide in him.
But the anointing that you received from him abides in you. The Chrisma, anointing, christening. What is this but baptism? This is where we Christians are anointed with the Holy Spirit, Acts 2:38-39. And through this the Holy Spirit abides in us. Our baptism is true, it is no lie, it gives what it says it gives, life, eternal salvation, the Holy Spirit, faith regeneration. With all that we have no need of myths, and fables. We have the Holy Spirit, we have salvation.

Oh...Baptism...again.
You mean that God is really serious in His commands?
Baptism is great..but what about my little self-righteousness project? That ought to count for something.
Thanks for the baptism reminder, Bror. And, greetings from MN! Don Klatt said you had a blog as he, Val and I had lunch in Staples yesterday after the Pastor's conf. Don mentioned your Dad being a pastor there.
The corned beef and sauerkraut, fetticini alfredo, and whatever else on the menu is good.
God's peace,
Thaine and Val
