God's Pateince

2 Peter 3:8-10 (ESV)
But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. [9] The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. [10] But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.

And hear you have it. This is why everyday that we have is a day of grace. Everyday that we live in this world, is a day in which God has shown patience towards us. He shows patience because he loves. He loves you. He shows patience because he does not want to see ANY perish, but wants ALL to reach repentance. I emphasize this because it shows just how awful the doctrine of limited atonement is, and how badly it contradicts scripture to say that God does not want all to be saved, but has elected some to eternal damnation. He has been patient toward you, why shouldn’t he be patient toward your neighbor? Be careful now, your answer may reveal more about you than it does your neighbor. Nonetheless, you can be assured Jesus death was for you, Jesus salvation is for you.

Nice one, Bror!

He is patient with us, isn't he?

That L.A. doctrine paints a picture of a monster of a god. Not the loving God who died for all that they might come to Him.
