Ignorance Saves?

[Book of Mormon]
For Behold, and also his blood atoneth for the sins of those who have fallen by the transgressions of Adam, who have died not knowing the will of God concerning them, or who have ignorantly sinned. But wo, wo unto him who knoweth that he rebelleth against God! For salvation cometh to none such except it be through repentance and faith on the Lord of God. (Mosiah3:11-12)
I would like you just to compare this to Romans chapter 2 for beginners. Who is honestly ignorant of God’s will? We are incapable of following it, but we are not ignorant of it. God’s law is written on our heart, and it condemns all of us. Ignorance of the Grace of God, ignorance of the cross of Christ does not save. I dare say if it did, Christ would tell us to shut up about it so that we could all be saved.
That is the thing here. If I believed ignorance saved, I’d shut up. If I believed ignorance saved I’d sooner put a bullet in my head so that no one had a chance to reject the message than go around interrupting the Saturday mornings of unsuspecting people minding their own business. If ignorance saved Paul himself would have shut up. As he says (by the way, following Moses’s queue from Exodus 32:32) “ For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh: “(Romans 9:3 (KJV) This is the true love of Christ showing forth, that you would give up your own salvation if possible to save your brothers and sisters. “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lays down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13 (ESV)
Now some might argue that the reason one tells another about this is to bring more happiness to their life here and now. However after six years of living in Mormon land, my response would be if that is happiness you can keep it. Sorry, but when a state dominated by Mormon’s is known as the state with the biggest problem regarding the abuse of antidepressants, I think your argument about a happier life here and now goes out the window.
If you argue that you have a responsibility to show others or lose your own salvation, well follow Paul’s example then. Man up and take hell for the team. You are not bettering anyone’s life here and now or hereafter with this junk. Sorry, but I am perfectly happy knowing that Christ died for all my sins and has freely given me salvation, despite everything I can do. Christ laid down his life for me. He laid it down for you to. He gave up his life for you. That is a message worth sharing! And your salvation is dependent on me sharing it with you. It is for that reason I get up on Sunday morning. I love you too much not to tell you.

The more I find out about Mormonism, the goofier it gets.

I do believe they are in the grip of evil, with that stupid, self-centered book of fiction that they revere so much.
