Second Nephi 11:7

“For if there be no Christ there be no God; and if there be no god we are not, for there could have been no creation. But there is a God, and he is Christ, and he cometh in the fullness of his own time. “
Huh? That is what I wrote in the margin. This is just silliness playing off as some sort of logic, and it is unbecoming of a prophetic work.
I believe in Jesus Christ, I believe he is God because he said he was, and after being dead three days he rose. Good enough evidence for me that Jesus is the Christ and God. But there is not logical connection between the two as proposed above. Many people believe in a god, and do not believe in any Christ. For that matter many believe there is no God, despite the testimony of the created world. One is just left scratching his head here. For one, thinks that if there is a God, he would use a more coherent thought process.
