God desires all to be saved, pray for them.

1 Tim. 2:1-4 (ESV)
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, [2] for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. [3] This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, [4] who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

You don’t have to wait for a person to be Christian to pray for them. You don’t have to like the policies of a president to pray for them either. Christians pray for their leaders. Perhaps the biggest thing that we pray for is the ability to live a peaceful and quiet life. A peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way, we in the United States are blessed to have this. Paul’s day was also blessed with the Pax Romana, Christianity spread during that time, though the church was persecuted during the Pax Romana, as it is in ways even now. Yet God works through the stability our governments provide to spread the Gospel because he desires all people to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Pray that his desire would reach fruition! The best prayers are prayers that pray back his word to him. But remember this is all people. There isn’t a soul alive that God does not want to be saved and come to the knowledge of truth. We can confidently say, Christ died for you!
