Speaking what you Believe

2 Cor. 4:13-15 (ESV)
Since we have the same spirit of faith according to what has been written, "I believed, and so I spoke," we also believe, and so we also speak, [14] knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and bring us with you into his presence. [15] For it is all for your sake, so that as grace extends to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God.

We believe and so we speak. Faith gives birth to confession. It cannot remain silent, even when you would like it to be silent. Faith rejoices in the gospel, the good news, it can’t help to share this good news with all. Evangelism doesn’t have to be complicated. It is merely a matter of sharing the good news, the word of God, the forgiveness of sins. The more you immerse yourself in the Gospel, by attending Church, partaking of the Sacrament of the Altar, and soaking in the word with daily devotions, the more you will find yourself talking to others about Christ. It isn’t about knocking on doors, or approaching strangers. It is about sharing when opportunity arises, that which is natural to you, the word of God, the forgiveness of sins. For as you believe, so will you speak.
